Jon Zernickow

Jon Zernickow, owner and builder of ZFI Construction, began his homebuilding career at just 18 years old when he built his first home in Lake Havasu, Arizona. He went on to develop his craft building homes in Palm Springs, where he gained years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of quality construction. 



In 2017, Jon brought his passion for homebuilding to Southern Idaho, where he continues to lead projects throughout the Magic Valley. Jon is known for being highly involved in every build, personally visiting job sites each day to ensure each home meets his standards of quality and care. He approaches every project as if he were building it for his own family, focusing on durability, craftsmanship, and long-term value. Under his leadership, ZFI Construction has built a trusted team committed to meeting client expectations and delivering homes that are thoughtfully built and meant to last.

Sandi Zernickow

Sandi Zernickow, co-owner of ZFI Construction, plays a key role in the organization, communication, and client experience behind every home we build. With a strong focus on supporting both the team and homeowners, she helps ensure each project runs smoothly from start to finish. Sandi is often one of the first points of contact for clients, providing guidance, clarity, and support throughout the building process. Her attention to detail and commitment to customer care help create a building experience that feels organized, transparent, and personal. Sandi takes pride in building strong relationships with homeowners and making sure they feel informed and supported every step of the way.
